Potter’s Clay

The Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as recorded in Matthew 28, “Go…and make disciples”, is the driving force behind Potter’s Clay. This  passion is lived out on short term mission trips to numerous places including New Orleans and North Omaha. Potter’s Clay  also takes an annual trip to Oaxaca Mexico. If you  would like to experience the awesome blessing of missions please contact Chuck and Karren McKeag at (402) 397-2535 to find out where they are off to next and how you can be apart!

OOM

Our mission is to be a missionary right here in our home town! We serve the people of Omaha in the name of Jesus.

Though we are a group for any age, we have a blast bonding together while volunteering. We generally meet once a month and volunteer at the Open Door Mission. Sometimes we have extra volunteering opportunities that pop up where we are glad to help!

Why we serve others:

· It’s fun!

· Because we can be a blessing for others!

· People need extra help, and we are the right fit!

· God commands us to (check out the bible verses below)!

· You get to wear a totally awesome shirt that Moos at you when you look in the mirror!

“If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother.” Deuteronomy 15:7

“A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9

“Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.” 1 Timothy 5:3

OOM meets the 1st Saturday of each month from 8:15am – 11:30am. Meet at Calvary (upper parking lot).
